Description Yunnan Wild Grown Jiaogulan Gynostemma pentaphyllum Priced Per Ounce Wild grown Jiaogulan (绞股蓝) from Mangshi county of Dehong! Grown in the mountains of southwestern China for thousands of years, Jiaogulan is a wild herb that has been consumed as a tea or in soups. You can brew Jiaogulan much as you would a green tea, pu-erh or oolong. Measure 5 grams per 100ml brewing device (gaiwan or cha hai). Use 90-95c spring water and wash once briefly to activate the Jiaogulan. Drink successive infusions. Brewing time can increase after a few steepings (start with 25 seconds).
